I spent over two decades in operations-heavy industries — starting as a cargo agent coordinating international shipments, growing into running my own logistics company in Brazil, and eventually working as a CFO and trade consultant across the US and Latin America.
In every role, I kept running into the same problem: the most capable people on the team were spending the biggest part of their day on work that had nothing to do with their actual expertise. Invoices that needed chasing. Reports that needed formatting. Compliance documents that needed manual review. Proposals that were 80% boilerplate — but still took days.
As an entrepreneur running my own company, I found myself doing work that had nothing to do with growing the business — organizing document storage systems from scratch, writing SOPs just so the team could follow a consistent process, manually clearing accounts payable and receivable that had piled up for months, and chasing paperwork that should have been handled automatically. The tools available were either too generic, too expensive to customize, or required a dedicated IT team just to keep running. Nothing was built for the reality of running a professional services firm.
I built Stint because I lived that frustration for 20 years — and I knew that with today's AI, it no longer has to be that way. Every feature in this platform exists because someone like me needed it and couldn't find it anywhere else.
